About Us
Kings Langley Light Opera Company started out back in 1948, performing at the local Church Hall, but now use the local facilities at the local Community Centre. We class ourselves as a warm and friendly society, and we welcome all newcomers as if they've been with the society for a good number of years. Most of our rehearsals are at the Community Centre, between 7:45pm to 10pm. Mondays are mainly for principals and Wednesdays for chorus, but for this forthcoming season we are changing the Wednesday rehearsal the following day (Thursday).
Our last production was "The Boy Friend", under the Musical Direction of Clive Swan and Margaret Wooster as Director was highly successful, so therefore we have yet again we decided to keep the excellent team of Margaret Wooster and Clive Swan plus the welcome addition of Victoria Burnham who will be assisting with the choreography for our forthcoming production of "RazzleDazzle 2012"
We have been building up our standard of performances over the past number of years, and we wish the trend to continue. If you came along and saw our last show, and you think that it's your cup of tea, and you don't have anything to do during the months of September and March, why not come and join us, either on or off stage, we're always looking for new members to join our merry band.
